An Open Letter Between Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick and A Constituent on the Mueller Report (Part One)

Ann Kirkpatrick's Email On The Mueller Report

The following is the first of 3 open letters sent from Ann Kirkpatrick to a constituent questions involving The Mueller Report and Impeachment, and the constituent’s response back to her.

Dear XXXXXXXXXX,

Thank you for sharing your perspective on President Trump. Your voice matters – and hearing from you helps me better represent the people of Southern Arizona. I value hearing from members of our community and hope you’ll continue to share your thoughts on the issues most important to you. I was raised here in Arizona, graduated from the U of A, served in the Pima County Attorney’s office, and taught public school in Tucson. I am also a mother and grandmother – so I understand the unique challenges we face and am committed to finding solutions for our district.

As a Congresswoman, former prosecutor, and American citizen, I have a responsibility to stand up for the rule of law and defend our Constitution. That is why I have concluded that the House of Representatives has no choice but to initiate an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision, but we simply cannot allow this criminal President and his administration to further debase the office of the Presidency and continue down their lawless path. After thorough deliberation – countless conversations with Southern Arizonans, thousands of letters and calls pouring into my office, consultation with legal experts, and reviewing the Mueller Report – there is no doubt that an impeachment inquiry is necessary if Congress is to properly carry out its oversight responsibilities.

Not only does the Mueller Report show President Trump was open to and willfully encouraged Russian interference in our elections, it clearly lays out evidence that he obstructed justice on multiple occasions. The Special Counsel confirmed as much during his July 24th testimony to the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. This testimony was an important step in our ability to conduct oversight on the President and reinforced my belief that he is totally unfit for office.

Beyond the Special Counsel’s investigation, the President has also instructed his administration to illegally ignore Congressional subpoenas. In fact, I recently voted to hold Attorney General Barr and Commerce Secretary Ross in Contempt of Congress for their failure to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas related to their proposed citizenship question on the Census. On top of this contempt for necessary Congressional oversight, President Trump has also committed clear campaign finance violations, is credibly accused of violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution, and has been shown to be a tax cheat. It simply could not be clearer that this President has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.

Opening an impeachment inquiry may be politically risky, but allowing a President to operate with total impunity is far riskier – the preservation of our institutions is at stake. This should not be a partisan fight or a debate about long-term democracy – it is about protecting our democracy. Nobody is above the law, especially not the President.

Again, thank you for sharing your opinion on this important topic. I hope you will continue to reach out about the issues facing our state and country, and I encourage you to visit our website, https://kirkpatrick.house.gov/, to stay up to date with the latest news, updates, and legislation coming from my office.

Constituent’s comments follows: On the surface seems to  convict the President of wrong doing. Does Ann Kirkpatrick, as a former prosecutor, know the truth or is she just another biased politician wanting to undo the 2016 Presidential Election? What are the actual facts behind the Mueller Report. All we have heard for 2-1/2 years is ‘the Mueller Report will convict Trump and he will go to jail’.

FISA Abuse

Let’s start with the FISA warrants. On January 18, 2018, Congressman Devin Nunes issued a memo to HPSCI Majority Members:  “Subject: Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Abuses at the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation”. Click here is a link to the full memo. The memo describes how the FBI mislead the FISA courts to obtain a warrent to spy on Carter Page and eventually Candidate Donald J. Trump.

The FBI knew that most of the documents used to obtain the warrants were proven false. Every democrat in congress condemned this memo and Devin Nunes was attacked by every democrat in Congress.

Adam Schiff claimed “Surveillance warrant docs show that Nunes memo ‘misrepresented and distorted these applications’”. Devin Nunes was attacked by the main stream media and democrats unmercifully. They slandered his name. Without these bogus, illegal FISA warrants, the Mueller Special Council would never have been started.

So every democrat, including Ann Kirkpatrick, had access to Devin Nunes’s memo and didn’t even look into it. They chose instead to discredit Devin Nunes. As a former prosecutor and American Citizen, wouldn’t you want to know the truth?

Well now we know that Devin Nunes was right. The IG report proved that everything Congressman Nunes said in his memo to be true.

The more I look into the IG Report and what actually happened, it looks more and more like a coup, trying to overthrow a sitting president. One of the things that really concerns me is that everyone in congress knew the FISA warrants were proven false, yet the democrats still pushed forward against President Trump.

The Mueller Report

The Congresswoman goes on to say that “Not only does the Mueller Report show President Trump was open to and willfully encouraged Russian interference in our elections, it clearly lays out evidence that he obstructed justice on multiple occasions.” These statements are false. The Mueller Report didn’t prove any of that.

The Mueller Report by the numbers:

675 Days of Investigation.

34 people were indicted as a result of Mueller’s investigation, including Russian Nationals and and 5 former Trump aides. One of the arguments used by the democrats is that Trump aides were indicted. He must be guilty. Well, none of them were indicted for anything to do with Russian interference in our election. They found crimes in their past or with most of them lying to the FBI.

  • Roger Stone – Lying to the FBI
  • Michael Cohen – 8 Counts all to do with his finances and business related bank fraud.
  • Paul Manafort – 25 Counts stemming from his past work for Ukrainian  politicians and financial crimes.
  • Rick Gates – Same as Manafort
  • George Papadopoulos – Making false statements to the FBI.
  • Michael Flinn – Making false statements to the FBI.
  • Richard Pinedo – Identity theft.

19 Lawyers were handpicked for the special council. Note: it has been said that Andrew Weissmann, a known Hillary Clinton supporter, hand picked every lawer. Every lawyer picked was a democrat. Most of these lawyers donated to or supported the Clinton Campaign. Andrew Weissmann has had numerous convictions overturned because of his actions as a prosecutor.

40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants and other staff which assisted with the investigation. Many of these FBI agents were caught sending biased,  hate-filled text messages about Donald Trump winning the election. A few agents were fired and some were reassigned to other investigations.

Nearly 500 search warrants were executed.

– More than 230 orders for communication records.

– Nearly 50 authorized orders for the use of pen registers, a tool that lets the government know who someone is communicating with and when, but not what they said.

– 13 evidence requests to foreign governments

– 500 witnesses interviewed including President Trumps attorneys.

– $25 million in posted costs as of February

During the Mueller Hearings, it became evident that Robert Mueller was not active in the investigation. He probably didn’t even write the report. The report basically didn’t find any evidence that President Trump colluded with Russia.

But the special counsel’s report leaves “unresolved whether the president’s actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction,” Attorney General William Barr said in a letter to Congress delivered Sunday.

“While this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him” on whether he obstructed justice, Mueller said in the report, according to Barr’s four-page summary.

Because the special counsel did not reach a conclusion on obstruction, Barr wrote that the ultimate decision was left to him, adding that he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein determined that Trump’s conduct did not constitute a crime.

The democrats pounced on the obstruction of justice part of the report. The problem is, it is not up to a prosecutor to exonerate someone. Their job is to find evidence that a crime was committed.

In Conclusion

Within the Congresswoman’s email, some disturbing things stand out.

  1. She calls the President “this criminal President and his administration…” Really? She calls him this when the fact is the Mueller Report didn’t show any crime.
  2. The Congresswoman also claims “President Trump has also committed clear campaign finance violations, is credibly accused of violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution, and has been shown to be a tax cheat. It simply could not be clearer that this President has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.” She claims this with no factual evidence. The Mueller report found no wrong doing.
  3. Then this “Not only does the Mueller Report show President Trump was open to and willfully encouraged Russian interference in our elections, it clearly lays out evidence that he obstructed justice on multiple occasions. The Special Counsel confirmed as much during his July 24th testimony to the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.” Again, The Mueller Report DID NOT show the President encouraged Russian interference in our elections. If the Mueller report had shown any evidence of obstruction of Justice, He would have recommend an impeachment inquiry be done.

Ann keeps saying “as a former prosecutor and American Citizen…”. What she should be saying is ‘as a partisan democrat…’ What I, as a citizen, find alarming about the Mueller report, is that he didn’t uncover the blatant abuse of the FBI in obtaining a FISA warrant. That, and it took almost 2 years before he fired the FBI agents involved with the biased text messages. But, he still used their biased work. And he didn’t even investigate the DNC and the Clinton campaign for Russian Interference. They paid Fusion GPS for the Steele fake Russian dossier that was used to collect dirt on candidate Trump. They then exposed it to the FBI and it was used to SPY on Candidate Trump and then President Trump. And now they have found out that the CIA was involved in this as well. When Mueller was asked about Fussion GPS, He didn’t even know who they were! As a former prosecutor, wouldn’t these items perk your curiosity? She can make assumptions without stating any proof about President Trump, yet with all the evidence of Fusion GPS, The Clinton Campaign as well as the DNC paying for the fake dossier, NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!!!

The FBI text messages point right back to President Obama as knowing about the spying. James Clapper even admitted that President Obama had directed them to start an investigation.

Robert Mueller was charged with getting to the bottom of the Russian interference in the 2016 election. Yet he didn’t investigate the Clinton Campaign, the DNC Fussion GPS, Christopher Steele or any other person involved with starting this hoax. Numerous witnesses lied to the FBI that were not indicted for lying. Mueller wouldn’t talk about that. The Mueller hearing was a complete joke. Mueller either wasn’t prepared or he didn’t write the report. He seemed lost and confused most of the time. The following video sheds a ton of light on the investigation.
